Why I chose this piece to comment on, I'm not sure - you have so many wonderful works going on here. You have created such a fabulously every-day feel to this painting with your muted palette and the comfortable, detached relationship between your subjects. Your grasp of light and shade and all the subtle reflections are flawless and blend so well into your finished piece that it would be easy to underestimate the skill required to render them.
I just love it and wish it was on my wall right now.
